Recently had an abortion
Hello everyone,
I'm just looking for some support right now as I've recently had a MA two days ago.
I got pregnant from a guy I work with.. we saw each other on an off for about 4 months. From the beginning I knew this guy was bad news. He's immature even though he's in his 30s, has a breathalyzer in his car, is untreated bipolar, the list goes on. Unfortunately, those things didn't stop me from hooking up with him. I thought he was "nice enough" and we ultimately did have fun together. Last year I called things off with my fiance and the past year I've been pretty wild. Partying/drinking/sleeping around, etc. I think it was my way of coping with the pain of my last relationship. When me and my co-worker last slept together we had an "accident." I immediately took Plan B...Lately I'd been feeling very emotional and crying at the slightest things. I'm not a big crier so this was weird for me so I decided to take a test. I took 5 tests- all positive.
I told my co-worker that I was pregnant and I was leaning towards having an abortion. My co-worker wanted me to keep it. I asked him what that would look like if I did- do we try to be together? Finances, etc? He told me he doesn't see us being together, but that "he would try to best he could to co-parent with me." Those words weren't very reassuring and seeing that his life is a mess, I didn't want a child with him. I'm also in the middle of school, I work full time, and I don't have any family in the city I live in. After thinking about this for a week and discussing it with a few close friends, I decided to move forward with the abortion. My co-worker said he would support "whatever decision I ultimately decided to make." I really hoped he would be there to support me through the event, but he wasn't. He came over to bring me food one evening and left within ten minutes of being there. It really hurts that I had to go through the process with little support while I was scared and in so much pain. I also live in a state where abortion is illegal and I have limited access to healthcare due to shitty insurance/limited financial resources right now.
I know I made the right decision and ultimately don't regret not having a child with this person. I am in no way ready to raise a baby on my own. I don't believe it would've been fair to myself or the child. Ultimately I do want kids someday, just not like this. I'm really struggling to focus right now on anything and I feel very depressed. I'm also worried that the MA didn't work, I had little bleeding and clotting, not as much as I expected from reading other people's experiences. I'm also just worried about the possibility of infection. The worst part of this entire situation is that I work with this person, it's bad enough that I slept with a co-worker, but now this is the worst possible situation I could've imagined being in. It's not easy for me to just get another job either. I just feel so alone and worried about my mental health right now. Any experiences or support would be greatly appreciated.

Story time
No real names of parties involved for legal purposes.
With all the drama surrounding Navarro- I am taking this time to speak out for another toxic program. Ever hear of Lindenwood? They have clasped numerous national titles over the past 10 years. Anywhoooo… this is a story about their head coach Jerri and her program that is built on bullying and toxicity.
I’m going to take you back to 2005. I was a freshman at LU and a cheerleader. One night, we all got together after a game to celebrate the big football win. I was 18, it’s well known that underage drinking happens within this team and it’s ignored. But I digress-
We were all drinking when one of my female teammates, let’s call her S.. she was a sophomore and was also participating in the underage drinking. She got obliterated! She could barely walk, talk, anything. In walks a male cheerleader, let’s call him K. He and others surrounding S would begin to engage in sexual activities in front of the entire party! She could barely move, let alone consent to this. The cherry you ask? Multiple people took videos of K performing sexual acts on S and the videos were sent to everyone on the cheer team. Jeri the coach was informed and did NOTHING about it. S started to get bullied so mercilessly because Jeri was at jeopardy of losing her job. S tried to end her life on multiple occasions and ultimately had to drop out of school.
Looking back I wish I would’ve said something, or stood up for her. But how could we? Our place on the nationals mat was on the line! Nationals mat was my entire world when I cheered.
Just thought it was funny how LU cheer and alum were gossiping about the Navarro drama but their house isn’t clean either. #LUcheer #lindenwood

Remote Positions?
I was wondering if there are any remote or non Madison positions available at epic since the job postings are hard to interpret. I currently work in consulting at Oracle Health (Cerner) and have been there for about 4 years and want to get off of this sinking ship before Oracle ultimately kicks us off.
A few months ago I applied for a project manager position that was listed as an on site position in Kansas City. I figured this position was at a hospital here such as KUMC or St Luke’s etc. When I had my phone screening, the recruiter told me he didn’t know why it was listed in KC as I would have to relocate to Madison for this position.
I ultimately withdrew myself from consideration since reloacation is not an option. I don’t mind the travel portion but was wondering if there are any remote positions related to consulting or project management. Thanks in advance for the help/advice!

Early Niji Favorites Livers Trashed by AnyColor
Niji was happiest during the extremely short period of 2018-2019.
They were on the verge of winning the industry ruling at the end of '19, but as you know Hololive quickly overtook them.
Now, in Niji's lower Subs, the body of JP Livers, who was the darling of the last 18/19 years, is lying there, and AnyColor has almost left it alone.
If you recognize the names of those JP Livers below, you are a living example of the extremely small JP Vtuber industry in its infancy.
*Shibuya Hajime
He is Niji 1st gen's biggest problem child, now given up on and dumped down to below CCV 100. It is obvious that he had issues with his personality and behavior, and when he opens his mouth, he seems to be saying the same kind of things that Niji EN Livers used to mock Hololive on Discord. At the time of his debut, he even stated that he was going to "Eat the Kizuna AI generation alive".
*Suzuka Utako
She was a legendary resident of Boys Love board on 2ch, where she was popular for her extreme, toothless BL talk. But the rise of political correctness? I'm not sure if it is, but I'm not sure what she is doing now, even in JP.
AnyColor hired many of these legends to Niji and left them to rot, and not because of Fujoshi.
*Kanda Shoichi
He was a right-wingist male Liver. While most Japanese rightists hate China and Korea for rehashing WW2 war crimes forever, he seemed to say "Ｗe should save KR Livers" because of the awfulness of AnyColor's treatment of Niji KR. AnyColor's evilness of not treating people as human beings is probably a felony that goes beyond political ideology.
*Honma Himawari
She is yet another victim of Niji's environment.
She was initially gaining a furious subscriber growth and popularity that led to her being dubbed Tsukino Mito II, with CCVs in the tens of thousands, and even Niji's first Gold button was expected.
However, AnyColor pushed a lot of work onto her and she finally went down.
After her hiatus, her place on Niji was shrinking, and her listenership was dwindling as AnyColor kept pumping out newcomers.
She has remained in the bottom half of the pack for the past few years, with a CCV of 2~3K.
Again, AnyColor is guilty of making Liver expendable.
The following are Livers that are known in Japan but have little reason to be known abroad.
*Yuki Chihiro
She is a Niji 1st gen and has been streaming almost exclusively Apex at all hours since Apex became popular in Japan.
However, the fierce slander from the Nijisisters and Chikan Kaiwai (a community of followers of Japanese abusive and discriminatory language streamer Kato Junichi, now united with the Nijisisters) and the results of their court action against them were taken away by AnyColor, and she became severely exhausted.This has led to his reincarnation.
*Kuzuha
He has a large subs, but even with almost JP local name recognition, it is not an worldwide. This is because he almost only does FPS and outside of Niji.
In his previous life, he was a professional gamer named Soniclogic who was infamous in JP and was banned from the team for being seriously outspoken and racist. He then started as an indie Vtuber and was scouted by AnyColor.
Yes, Niji's No. 1 guy Liver is not a Niji native.
He is partnered by JP Livers named Rindou Mikoto, who is now reasonably settled, but until just a few years ago, he was all about the same problematic behavior as he was during his Soniclogic days. He would say to his racehorses, "Cock it! Cock it" He even released a song called "Contrail" (the racehorse's name), to put out the blow up?
He says. "I have nothing but gratitude to Niji for taking someone like me on, and I have no intention of quitting."
*Lize Helesta
This person, who is on the winning side at JP Female Livers, has interacted with only a few people on the periphery almost exclusively over the past five years (sometimes outside, but by far the fewest). With her calm and serious talk, she seems to be an "Image-enhancer," not unlike Niji Liver, who has a thuggish image, while she is also ridiculed as a "Public servant" who is forever doing the same thing.
However, you just never know what they really think. She seemed to make a sarcastic remark about Hoshimachi Suisei in a talk with a personal Vtuber with whom she is always interacting. Even if she plays the role of a serious person, will she be dyed in that color if she stays in that environment?
*Inui Toko
If she had been anywhere other than Niji, she could have been a diva.
She is being treated with preferential treatment in Nornis, an AnyColor liveried unit. Initially, she also had a program with Hoshimachi Suisei, and there was no difference until a while ago. However, while Hoshimachi has made such great strides, she has become comfortable with AnyColor's tendency to disregard singer-types.
One Liver reincarnated from Nornis, who also revealed how bad the environment at Niji was and how uncomfortable it was for her to be dominated by a female boss.
Inui, on the other hand, laughed with the other remaining member, saying, "It's fun now that (this Liver) is gone."
Does Niji's environment corrupt even the most promising talents?

Most of them debuted before popular and internationally known Vtubers such as Holo, whom we now know. Despite their long careers, they have been smoldering, doing only the same thing locally in JP ever since around the time Holo overtook them.
This is probably due more to AnyColor's lack of management and a rash of newcomers who do not think ahead, rather than Livers' own laziness. I have no desire to undermine Livers, so I interpret this as AnyColor ultimately putting them in this unfortunate situation.
Those who dare to leave Niji and succeed will have already acted like Doki, Kuro, Mint, and etc. Himemori Luna's exit from Niji must have been a visionary move.

Why videogames like The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Starfield and Fallout 4/Fallout 76 fall short of New Vegas, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Daggerfall and Arena
Videogames produced under Bethesda studios rarely qualify in the traditional sense, as RPG's... rather than presenting an order of choices, they present only a choice of order in taking quests: where-in whether or not the player negated of focued on doing "the quests for the Mages or Fighters guild first" in eithers complitation you will ultimately see the same outcome to the quests/questlines undertaken... regardless of you pretend to be (unlike their older titles, see Morrowind, Fallout 3 or Daggerfall and Arena) is unimpactful on the story, since there's no options to act as them through the story or in pursuit of questlines; only in gameplay... leading increasingly for the games they develop to become action RPGs... not RPG's.

ETF Investment portfolio at 32 y.o.
Hi all, I'm a 32 y.o. in the UK. I've made some poor investment decisions over the last 3-4 years and my portfolio is sitting comfortably in the red. I've got a mixture of some individual stocks and EQQQ, SMT (was impressed by past performance and now terribly disappointed) and INRG (the sustainability in me wanted this). Only the EQQQ has somewhat offset the losses, and I've made a decision to move away from this portfolio altogether and re-evaluated my strategy. I'd like my investments to be automated yet maintain some level of control and oversight, so I don't really consider target date funds, nor do I want to go down the route of individual stocks. Hence, I've decided to use index tracker funds as my choice of investment, and for now came up with the following split (later on I might build it to 5-10 funds max):
• VUAG: 50% - gives me exposure to probably one of the best performing indices (S&P500) out there that also has a great deal of reliability and is widely recommended by the likes of Buffett. Gives my portfolio the growth factor.
• VHYG: 30% - similarly to S&P500, very steady and reliable growth but also coupled with the benefit of dividends. I would want my investments to ultimately pay for some necessities to move me towards the financial independency, and I view this fund as a step in that direction.
• GISG: 10% - I want to stay focused on growth but understand that some proportion of portfolio should be dedicated to stability, so thought to commit the 10% to worldwide government bonds. I wanted to add corporate bonds but got really confused by those and left them out.
• EPRA: 10% - similar to VHYG, the idea is to have some regular income generated. Having said that, until some arbitrary portfolio value of £100k I intend to reinvest all the income and focus on growth.
I had an idea of adding an emerging market index fund, but the returns seem very poor, so the risk-reward ratio doesn't make sense to me. Happy to be challenged on that. I will have an automated investment every 2 weeks to allow for cost averaging. The idea is to be diversified and avoid painful losses, yet still expect a decent growth from the portfolio. I would want to part-retire early and quite frankly with my current portfolio the prospect of that looks pretty grim.
Now the question to community is: what's your take on it? What do you think of this arrangement and what suggestions can you make? Thanks in advance.
