I'm 22. My job is giving me the chance to be fully remote for the next year. I'm in SoCal, so I'm taking this chance to move a couple times in the next year to explore the US more and see where I possibly want to permanently stay (SoCal (I'm in San Diego) is so expensive haha).

What would you all suggest in terms of being in a walkable state/area with other black people with relatively young demographics, while at the same time being relatively safe and affordable? By safe and affordable - just looking to save up a bit - spend less than $2k for a 1BR.

I was thinking maybe the DFW area/ Texas, but I honestly have zero desire to deal with that heat in the summer haha.

This has happened multiple times and confuses me every time.

I travel for work. Room and tax is typically billed to the company.

This last trip was 11 nights at a hotel in San Diego. It didn’t add any nights to my Bonvoy account so I emailed to request a missing stay. They are telling me that since I didn’t have any room charges, I don’t get the 11 nights added to my account. Which also means I don’t get the 1000bonus points per night.

Is that right? I did charge things to my room but there was a food and beverage credit of $35/day so that wiped out any charges I had.

Sending package from San Diego CA to a city in Illinois. Just got an update that my package was delivered to Camp Pendleton for final delivery. Neither seller or buyer resides on military base. I know there is a base in IL, is it possible USPS is sending packages via military? (Lol??) or is this just a mistake on their part?

this is a logo for a clothing company based in san diego, ca, usa. the clothing brand has an audience similar to surf brands - hurley, billabong, quicksilver, etc.

the logo consists of a palm tree and a pier from the famous coronado bridge located in san diego. the client would like to see something a little more dynamic - i've tried staying away from waves of any sort due to their overuse by the competition. any ideas?

Thanks to digitsinthere and stevenomics for posting earlier about Siete Leguas in San Diego. It’s Saturday morning and it’s still here. I confirmed with the supervisor that they do not have reposado at any location. So that’s the only bummer.

Hi - I booked with a broker back in February to ship my car to arrive in Michigan by this upcoming Friday (4/26). Long story short it hasn't shipped yet for every reason under the sun. I'm hesitant to keep calling places as my car is going to end up on the same job board and cause a mess with quotes and drivers. Any suggestions or ideas? Thank you!
