Suggestions needed for 2 week Spain Trip

Hello everyone, I am M23, going to Spain next month from Canada and definitely need your suggestions.

Flight is booked. I am flying to Paris. Stay: Mostly hostels Budget : $1200 for everything including food, activity, bars, any extra tickets

Should I rent a car or travel by train? Do I need to make reservations in the train?

Where would you recommend to have good night life, make new friends and maybe do some adventure sports?

Also, I took your advice and so far this what I have planned: D1: Paris to Barcelona D2 and D3 : Explore Barcelona and watch Barca vs Girona match D4: Move to Seville D5 and D6: Explore Seville D7,D8,D9 AND D10: Explore Granada, Malaga, Cadiz

D11 : Move to Valencia or maybe fly directly to Paris. D12 : Explore Paris D13: Flight

What city would I fit in the most socially? [M25]

I [M25] have lived my entire life in my suburban Ocean County hometown—excepting a short study abroad semester in France. I have remained here, not for financial reasons, but due to a combination of foolish risk aversion and not knowing where I want to go.

I've never fit in socially in the suburbs. People have commented that I give off more of a city vibe. For context, I'm a nerdy introvert into reading, art, fashion, piano, cafés, libraries, parks, museums, and concerts. Not into sports nor drinking, and not particularly outdoorsy (though I love picnics and walks in the park). Furthermore, I rarely run into people in my age range in the 'burbs, let alone ones that are my type.

Having more online friends than IRL ones, I've noticed that I tend to vibe mostly with people who are indie, alternative, artsy, DIY, nerdy, bookish, weeaboo/koreaboo, or liberal ... which are all rare where I live.

Which NJ cities have these kinds of people the most? I'm guessing somewhere in North Jersey. As a Central Jerseyan, not too familiar with that region.
Which specific neighborhoods in these cities? I'm willing to budget up to $2,000/mo for rent. [EDIT: Should have specified I'm okay with having roommates.]
Places populated mostly with other professional working 20-somethings instead of families/empty nesters. I'm a registered nurse.
Preferably where a car is not needed for daily living.
My #1 criteria is potential for building a social life.

Thank you for attending my quarter-life crisis. (Sincerely.) I've never had the courage to undertake such a drastic change in my life before. The only time I've experienced city living was studying in Paris, and staying with online friends in Bordeaux + Brussels and I loved it. Though Paris was a tad bit too megacity-like for me.

Olympic qualifying competitions shouldn't be held in countries where potential medalists can't go.

I'm really glad that the geopolitical situation didn't decide the Olympic spots on rings. I have nothing against Simonov but it would have been a shame for Azerbijan to benefit from the fact that Armenian athletes don't feel safe competing in a country that has repeatedly in recent years been in armed conflict as the aggressor

The reason that Azerbaijan can host international sporting events is because their travel ban on Armenian citizens excludes international athletes. But that doesn't mean the Armenians feel comfortable or safe in Baku. It's really a shame on FIG for allowing an Olympic Qualifier there.

Nikita Simonov is not responsible for his country's repeated aggressions against it's neighbors. He absolutely should be in Paris because he is a potential Olympic finalist on rings. But for a while it looked like Azerbaijan was going to benefit from the situation.

And this is certainly something to think about as people consider that Azerbaijan is routinely talked about as a potential emergency host for the still as yet homeless 2025 World Championships.

* Before you respond with something about Russia/Belarus, it's important to know that neither country is banned "because of the war" alone. It was because it was the 3rd violation of the Olympic Truce by Russia in 14 years. The Olympic Truce is a formal internationally recognized concept saying that you don't start armed conflict during the period of the Olympics and Paralympic Games, and declared by United Nations resolutions. The Russian Federation used the opening of the 2008 Olympic Games to invade Georgia. It used the 2014 Olympic Games on their own soil as a distraction during their invasion of Ukraine the first time, and the 2022 Invasion occurred during the Paralympic Games. If the Russian Federation had waited 2 weeks they would be competing today.

The IOC has been extremely clear all along that this was about the Olympic Truce and their ethical obligation not to allow the event to be used this way without response.

No other country has ever violated the Olympic Truce.

An exciting trailer has been released for "Pursuit" in a big reveal.

Meet Brogan, a 20something year old aloof drifter who experiences a change in character and decides to enter the thrilling and dangerous world of "danger photography", which sees him doing anything from chasing dangerous cop pursuits and even dangerous fugitives or wanted suspects to chasing celebrities or anybody worth filming. Snapping pictures or taking videos with a wide range of gadgets (handhelds, wearables, implants, retinals, you name it), Brogan begins to rake in the cash and the views, but has to be careful not to be apprehended by the authorities.

The game is set in the fictional US megalopolis of "Memorial County" and although we are not actually overtly told where exactly Memorial County actually is, we do see tons of stop signs and horizontal traffic lights and by the layout of the extra-wide streets and boulevards and architecture and lack of mountains, it's fairly evident that we're somewhere in Texas (and not Florida or Louisiana or Nebraska or Wisconsin, for example), although this is never actually overtly revealed to the player.

Because "Danger Photography" involves keeping up with the action wherever it takes Brogan, this may involve breaking laws such as traffic laws, so Brogan has to be somewhat careful to conceal his identity at times and he should try his best not to run over bystanders and innocent pedestrians and be hunted for committing vehicular homicide or manslaughter for example.

In this alternate future, tech implants also exist, so things like cybernetic implants and "retinals" exist and Brogan can sometimes record with his retinals.

But Brogan's career doesn't just see him chasing thrilling cop pursuits and celebrities and VIPs; he also encounters the weird and the wacky, with some missions even closely resembling scenes from the 2012 movie "Chronicle", as Brogan's new "career" also sees him turn investigator as well.

Also featured in the game is an Area 51-type area on the outskirts of the enormous Memorial County: Robinson Air Force Base and Advanced Research Facility. Weird goings-on have been reported in and around the base, with people regularly reported missing and even hitchikers vanishing on the nearby fictional in-game I-112 (Interstate 112).

Less dangerous missions and activities include running into bikers and up-and-coming rockstars and country musicians in random diners and dive bars off highways as well as strange tourists who seem to have travelled well beyond popular tourist routes.

Brogan may also come across things that interest him which are not so glamorous and thrilling: such as missing persons reports or crazy murder cases which see him mired in danger and mystery.

At least five companies are also confirmed to be advertising their products in the game: Lenovo's Motorola Mobility has featured two of its smartphones in the game (Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Motorola Edge 40 Neo) and Brogan is regularly seen using a Motorola Edge 50 Pro (which appears to be his favorite personal smartphone).

StripeStorm Leisure Gear, Inc also advertises its Paradiso range of skateboards, with Brogan sometimes seen riding the Paradiso V12 and Paradiso Rockstar V4 skateboards. (It helps to note that Brogan has various modes of transportation available - and he can drive, walk, run, rollerskate, use skateboards, cycle and ride motorbikes etc).

Apple's newest gadget, the Apple Watch Zeus F11 is also advertised, with commericals regularly featured on huge digital billboards across the megalopolis as well as many, many of Memorial County's residents seen regularly using the Apple Watch Zeus F11. BMW's I800i electric sedan (extended wheelbase) as well as its Manitoba G01 diesel sedan (extended wheelbase) are also advertised in the game, with NPCs regularly seen driving them. Many of the other vehicle models featured in the game are of fictional brands created exclusively for the game but clearly based on real models of real car brands.

Five Guys restaurants are also seen dotted across Memorial County and although there are other, fictional fast food restaurants on the map, players eventually count that there are 21 Five Guys restaurants on the game's map, giving you an idea of just how enormous Memorial County actually is (it has more Five Guys restaurants in it than in the entire state of Wisconsin in real life). Real and officially-licensed Five Guys menus and prices are also featured, which may be just a little too realistic for some.

Consumer supplement company Zeus Nutrition Enterprises also has commercials in the game and NPCs are regularly seen using its supps or talking about them amongst each other. Fictional sports stars in the game are also seen advertising them on TV networks and across digital billboards. Sometimes, Brogan is seen walking into a local Phil's Household Goods store (fictional in-game chain) and seen purchasing Zeus Nutrition-branded Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate bottles (yes, there is physical shopping in the game and not just mere kiosks, so Brogan can actually interact with a cashier or use a self-service machine if the player wishes).

It also helps to note that Memorial County is not full of dilapidated buildings and is not a postapocalyptic city at all (players who have played Cyberpunk may find Memorial County much, much cooler).

There is also a lot of background news featured in the game and as players explore more of Memorial County, they'll listen to and watch news reports on random events not connected to the game or its story at all: for example, "Millions of French citizens voting to leave the European Union in 'Referendum of the century'"; "Chinese President Dai Xiaosi in Colombia during a lull in The Second Colombian Civil War to broker a crucial peace treaty"; "NASA discovers an Earth-like planet 21 light years away"; "Hurricane Harry barrelling towards the West Coast of Africa"; "US President Logan McGruber Jr recovering from a head injury after a particularly turbulent Air Force One flight from Paris, France"; "The US now has the highest GDP per capita in the modern world"; "Spain's Catalonia now has the lowest crime rates in all of Europe"; "Klibb to release Klibb Glass II next Fall" (Klibb clearly appears to be based off of Google, especially as the in-game parent company of Klibb is the rather aptly named BetaAlpha Corporation); "The Indian government announces a 'cash for babies three-child policy' program as it seeks to reverse stagnant population growth on the Indian subcontinent and encourage more reproduction to avoid a dangerous population decline and ageing population as it offers perks and incentives for every second and third child a couple has together"; "An entire police force in the US state of Oregon resigns in protest at the treatment of a city cop at the center of an officer-involved shooting of a native American student which occurred outside indigenous territory"; "Research shows that more and more Canadians are relocating and moving south to states such as Arizona, New Mexico, California and Washington".
