I'm a huge fan of the MLB games (mostly the career mode honestly), but I've never really been able to get into watching the games. A large part of this is just the extremely long schedule compared to the NFL, I feel like I can't really justify taking all that time into a sport that I may not want to watch full time, especially since with the NFL, I typically watch almost every game in a week, which seems nearly impossible for baseball. Alongside this, I have no idea on how the average fan watches the games. How can I get myself more into baseball in general, and how do fans typically go through the season? Thanks for any help and advice, I appreciate it.

• He had a punctured lung. That was his biggest problem. He also had a broken collarbone and several ribs. He also broke a finger. The biggest problem was the punctured lung.

Do you know what treatment he needed?

• He had some blood in his lung, but I'm not a specialist. It was a matter of safety – those were the main reasons why he stayed there for so long. So it's really good to hear that he could leave the hospital.

What are his chances of starting the Tour?

• I don't think so. For Jonas, it's important to be at 100 percent when the Tour starts. It's a really tough race, which he has won twice. I don't think he'll ride if it's about the top 10. He needs to be in top form. We'll see if it's possible over the next few weeks.

So it's a possibility that he's good enough to ride but won't go if he's not good enough to win?

• Yes, that's a possibility. But as I said, it's hard to predict now. He needs to recover from his very bad crash. We'll see in the next two weeks what progress he makes, and then we'll make a new plan.

How much is two and a half months when you think about going from 0 to 100?

• It's hard to say. I know Jonas is a very unique guy. Two years ago, he had a small problem with his Achilles tendon. He can recover quickly, but as I said, I'm not a doctor, and it's too early to make a decision.

Does anyone know of any rec baseball/softball leagues for absolute beginners? My girlfriend and I were thinking about joining one and playing to help get in shape and to make friends. I've not played baseball in about 12 years when I was in grade school and she's never really played sports so something for people like us would be preferable
