Just ordered the Coach Sammy 21 from Neiman Marcus and it arrived today. There’s a noticeable crease on the top flap that I can’t unsee and makes it look cheap on a $450 bag. It’s hard to see on the photo but I marked where it begins and ends. Is this typical for a Coach bag? I honestly haven’t even thought about buying Coach since I was in middle school lol but it seems like their brand has tried to modernize and I love the design of this bag. I also follow Tanner Leatherstein and he actually had given Coach bags good reviews. Should I return this and get a Polene? That was my second choice but ultimately decided on the Coach because of the classic design. Or return and ask for a new one? Just not sure if this is a common problem with Coach and worry if it’s creased brand new, will creasing continue to be a problem?

I'm a 25-year-old guy and I've always found myself as the introvert among extroverts and vice versa. Once I warm up to someone, I'm quite friendly, but starting conversations can be tough for me. Despite being there for my friends with surprise parties and thoughtful gestures, I've never had anyone do the same for me, especially on my birthday.

It's disheartening to realize that none of my friends have ever organized a surprise birthday celebration for me, despite my efforts for them. Feeling unappreciated, I've distanced myself from that group and now focus on nurturing relationships with others.

How can I become important to someone, where they'll put in the effort to make me feel valued? I can't help but wonder if being financially well-off would change how people perceive and treat me. Is it true that money is the ultimate determinant of one's importance to others? Any advice or insights would be appreciated.

I have a Blink setup with one Sync Module and five Outdoor 4 cameras. Things had been working okay since initial setup about seven weeks ago.

A few days ago I got a message that one camera was "offline". None of the troubleshooting steps brought the camera back online. Ensure Sync Module is online, remove/reinstall batteries, replace batteries with brand new Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA, power cycle router, power cycle Sync Module.

So I thought I'd just delete the camera from the system and re-add it. Deleting it went fine, but I have been unable to re-add it, the app cannot seem to discover or communicate with the camera.

When batteries are inserted, the camera blinks the red LED four times ("long" blinks). Then begins blinking red in shorter blinks, about every two seconds.

When the app is used to add the camera, after scanning the code, the app says "Looking for your Camera..." and the camera stops blinking its LED. The app progresses to "Still Looking. One Moment..." and then "Just a bit longer...", then finally fails with "Error The camera did not respond to the Sync Module. Remove the batteries for 10 seconds, then reinsert them and try again. OK"

or sometimes a different version of the error which states "Error The camera did not connect to the Blink cloud. Is the camera in range of your Wi-Fi router? OK"

After a few more seconds, the camera begins blinking red again, short blinks every two seconds or so.

The four other Outdoor 4 cameras continue to function normally, recording clips, etc.

The last troubleshooting option is to contact Customer Service, but they so far have only recommended steps from their online "help" pages that I of course have already tried before contacting them as the last option.

I'd rather not factory reset the Sync Module and start over completely, since there are four cameras still working, it doesn't make sense to me that the Sync Module is the problem.

The camera isn't DEAD but I think it has gone BAD. Any troubleshooting steps I'm missing before requesting a replacement camera?

S2 Ep 1: For Those Who Think Young- Seventh Rewatch Deep Dive

First off, not an original thought, but for someone that watched the show when it aired originally the ability to jump right from The Wheel to this episode can’t be undercut. I’m reminded of wondering if this was just a show that had a great first season in mind and that’s it. But after this episodes original airing it was clear…..this won’t be a flash in the pan.

The through line to this one is easy….its literally the title. Almost all the way through this series, there is very little fat on the episode titles. For those that think young (and those that don’t). The revolution is coming in many different ways. Who will make it and who will be swallowed by it? We start to see here.

“The most powerful word in advertising (read: and many areas of life) is new”. Don says this in his pitch in The Wheel. And 15 months later we are already seeing it with knowledge of the decade they are just really getting into in canon. It’s 1962, it’s still a lot like the 50s. But, the times they are a-changing. The youth are coming, just as Pete’s father in law said in The Wheel. Camelot is here through mandate of a (still debated election). Mrs Kennedys televised tour of the White House in canon highlights this. Duck and Martinsons coffees concerns tie this to their world.

Dons rigid mask……As part of this slow rewatch I’m really trying to pay attention to subtle tremors early on that foretell massive shocks later in the series. And while S1 laid out this world, the who is Don Draper, the many illustrations of how he is a master of his advertising universe…..S2 doesn’t languish in this, but starts to lay out the fall back of his genius. As the picture tied to this post illustrates….Don has no clue. Remembering that Dick Whitman built a mask to hide behind by using popular culture of the day we are already being shown that he never built his mask with much flexibility. He was going to remain well hidden as long as things don’t change. But, here they come. This is the central theme here. There is impact for many, but it’s illustrated no better than through the main character. So I will stick to that.

Change, professionally……Don is very clear here in his strategy. The kids know nothing. It’s a fad. Like the hula hoop. They will age out and it will stay the same. Is he confidant in this, or trying to sell his denial? Either way, I feel like he knows inside what he’s built as Don isn’t very flexible. The Mohawk work highlights this well, and is amazing storytelling when fully digested. He pushes back on Paul’s Native American puns as stale and the wrong approach. He pivots to it all being about adventure, and draws examples of pirates and knights and conquistadors…..and immediately goes “blah, blah, blah”. He’s realizing he has nothing fresh either. He can’t flex.

Change as a direct threat…..Cornered professionally Don takes interviews with “the kids” and his only weapon is to try to marginalize them. Great scene with Smitty and Kurt. He tries to cut them back multiple times and, they are unfazed. They know it’s all changing. They know which way the wind is starting to blow. Ultimately Don tries multiple times this episode to confidently put the youth back, only to come across like he’s raging at the clouds to stop coming closer….blah blah blah.

Change, personally. The doctor visit needs nothing in depth. It’s straight forward as a gut punch. It’s Dick/Don recognizing he’s aging in this mask. Did he maybe never think he would get this far when “old” felt way off? And he and Betty are on better terms…..or at least back to feigning better terms. I continue to wonder just what that artsy shot of Betty coming down the stairs at the hotel was meant to be? These kinds of shots are often used when something super important is being shown. And I do think it is here. Don is apparently in a philandering hiatus right now. Trying to do right. Trying to ape who the mask was built to be, and failing. Failing to figure an interpersonal relationship out as bad as he’s trying to figure out what the youth want so he can advertise that.

Finally, who is he sending that book to at the end? Common thoughts I’ve often seen is Midge (considering the writing it could fit) or Rachel (does not fit, he’s just obsessing).

Thinking about it….the book may be 5 years old but the refrain the guy in the bar shares (I don’t think you would like it) was probably apt as the type Don looks like wouldn’t enjoy it. So who would such a book make him think of? Someone who thinks young? I think he sent it to Anna. And maybe canon confirms it later and I’m blanking on it, but that’s the fun of this rewatch. I’m going to pay close attention for this when he goes west in a bit.

I know that this has been asked again but anyway.

I definatelly gonna buy alpha from my local authorized reseller.

But for 245EU i could get an Ultimate with killswitch included.

I was convinced to get the alpha regular and i know its gonna be enough and then Laurence Dusoswa came and changed that.

In his first impressions Simagic U video he was so excited and impressed with the base.

A person that has tried a lot of bases and said that he could not tell it apart from SC2 in a blind test.

He also said the alpha was also good and the mini was good,go sell them get a U.

Addiction = Selfishness = Greed

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO BE SELFISH ?

Research shows that as addicts, we are inherently selfish. Because of this, we live under a simple but dangerous equation:

ADDICTION = SELFISHNESS
&
SELFISHNESS = GREED

Greed leads to a quest for self-gain over those responsibilities you have to your soul, your support systems, and your community. It is you acting impulsively without purpose or thought. It is flawed action generated from a damaged soul. While this greed may create a sense of euphoria for a moment, it will ultimately lead to shame, regret, depression, and possibly losing .

IN RECOVERY THERE IS A PLACE FOR SELFISHNESS

The objective of your recovery is to stay free of drugs and alcohol which requires a bit of selfishness. However, to remain sober, it is paramount that your addiction generated selfishness is transformed into selflessness. When you find satisfaction through selfless engagement rather than addictive pleasures, you are on your way to finding sustainable sobriety.

The reason such a transformation works is selfless engagement allows you to enter society without expectations. You are stepping into your community no longer thinking solely about yourself, but rather how you can contribute to the greater good. Imagine entering the workplace with purpose and intention, interacting with family based on appreciation and joy, and entering the public domain with curiosity and humility. A selfless approach to your relationships, responsibilities, and hobbies makes life much simpler to navigate.

The fact is, if you approach life in any other manner, you are being greedy. And greediness will ultimately limit outcomes. The limiting of outcomes causes cravings, anger, resentment, frustration, and many other negative emotions. When these emotions enter your soul, you become a taker rather than a contributor and the result of this selfish action tends to harm far more people than yourself.

SELFLESSNESS = GREATNESS
&
GREATNESS = INSPIRATION

On the other hand, selflessness opens possibilities. Selflessness = Greatness and Greatness = Inspiration. Selflessness is the act of doing the right thing, making decisions based on your core principles, and living a purpose driven life. It is easy to find individuals operating under these rules. When you are witnessing kindness, forgiveness, authenticity, and accountability, you are witnessing selflessness. When you see an individual performing above all others with integrity and determination, you are witnessing a selfless approach. For Example:

• · When athletes make it about the team rather than their stats;
• · When your partner makes you the priority rather than their phone, social media, or needs;
• · When a friend accepts you for who you are and not who they want you to be;
• · When a co-worker asks not what's in it for them, but what's in it for the customer, co-worker, or company;

The examples above show individuals that contribute to our society. Their purposeful action inspires others to do the same and this is the true value selfless behavior. When you act selflessly, you are creating an inspiring energy that leads to greater contribution.

To be this contributor takes no special talent, experience, or skill set. It merely takes a willingness to look beyond yourself in all that you do. It requires you to take the tools, resources, and attributes that you have been blessed with and use them to learn, grow, and participate in life. It's not about knowing it all, always being right, or having every solution. It is only about living life with a thirsty curiosity about how best to contribute. It is about doing the next best thing, time and time again.

FIND YOUR WAY TO A GREATER GOOD ?

Staying sober is your priority. When using substances , you are immediately returned to that greedy state of addiction. This state is helpful to no one. Thus, there are times to be selfish in your recovery, but healthy selfishness is what you want. Healthy selfishness requires a proactive approach to life that eliminates those reactionary defects of character that appear without warning. When anger, frustration, resentment, rationalization, and blame are your answer to a situation, or more concerning, allowed to fester in your being for a lengthy period, you are still saddled with the illness of greed.

These adverse reactions are nothing more than your brain wanting to satisfy its addictive nature. Without drugs or alcohol to provide solace to those uncomfortable feelings, your mind looks to pacify its needs through other destructive responses. These responses look like anger, blame, resentment, or even hopelessness or sadness. These reactions give you a sense of power and serve to temporarily calm your damaged soul. Unfortunately, like when using, regret or shame follows such reactions and take a bad situation and makes it worse. Only when you take positive action will this destruction end right there; otherwise, it will compound into something unmanageable.

To beat this cycle of dysfunction, you must live selflessly. This process starts with positive choices in preparation for those triggering life events that are guaranteed to occur. It is a whole-body approach that involves the physical as well as the mental side of your being. It is an honesty to accept who you are and a commitment to be the person you wish to be. It is a desire to be selfless in how you contribute to those who are a part of your life.

Everyone is unique in what tools they need to create a healthy selfishness. However, there are some standard attributes a selfless contributor embodies as well as those qualities unique to you. Be selfish as you take the time to identify and incorporate those attributes that will make you a selfless contributor.

Below are several standard attributes recovering addicts must incorporate before they can find their selflessness nature.

• Appropriate Boundaries

• No Drugs or Alcohol

The result of taking time to strengthen your soul, through means like those listed above, helps to create the healthy selfishness you are looking to embody. It is a greedless approach that delivers the rewards of life. When you add these tools to your daily life, you are transforming your selfishness (addict) into selflessness (contributor). You are preparing yourself to live life as it is meant to be lived.

Your greed is nothing more than you trying to win at life, which is not the formula for a life that you love. For some reason, there is a societal belief that the more you can acquire, the happier you will be. The reality is, you have already won at life; you are alive. Plus, the greatness of life is not received through this type of winning.

The accumulation of things is simply the accumulation of things. It is not happiness, peace, or satisfaction. Being better than someone else is not succeeding in life. Getting back at or dominating another is not winning in life. Checking out of life by feeding yourself drugs and alcohol is not winning at life. This line of thinking is selling life short. Your goal is to quiet your addictive mind. All the money, dominance, knowledge, talent, or drugs cannot quiet your addictive mind. Only selfless intention generated from a purposeful life will create such an outcome. The outcome of living a life you love.
