Inspiration, Cold Hear, PNAU Remix - Dua Lipa and Elton John.

After selecting an artist, I will provide high quality digital photos of my friends. I would like the artist to create a spacey and funky background inspired by this music video, and paste our bodies into it. (No need to “animate” anyone) (Flowers, glitter, butterfly’s, all of it I love, I want wild and funyk.) :-)

For the piece, I have some elements that I would consider “mandatory” but I am open to creative suggestions by the artist.

Elements I would prefer to include:

1. The final piece includes each of my individual friends. (11 total)

2. One particular person is selected to be the “shooting star”

3. Some of us are standing on the planets

4. Completed by May 20th

5. Creatively include each individual.

6. Very funky

7. The individuals should be relatively easy to identify (would prefer them to not be too small, if that’s not achievable, we can discuss a 2nd or third piece)

I will ultimately be printing this image, approx dimensions will be 11.5x14 inches. (Not sure if this matters)

Lastly, I’m not sure what to expect, I have hired an artist once before and was very satisfied.

I am negotiable on the price, I want to respect your time. Ultimately I would be interested in 3 unique pieces. If we agree on more than one piece, the requirement to include everyone on a single piece is flexible.

The latest viral theory to take off on TikTok uses ketchup to 'test' your partner.

Another day, another viral TikTok relationship test. Traditionally, relationship ‘tests’ involved things like your first major fight, moving house and planning a wedding, but in the TikTok era there’s a whole new set of jargon, from birds to forests and ketchup, which will (supposedly) help you to determine whether your partner is The One.

The latest viral theory to take off on TikTok uses ketchup (yes, you heard that right) to 'test' your relationship. Dubbed the ‘Ketchup Challenge’, TikTokers simply pour ketchup onto their kitchen counters and ask their partners to clean it up – and most of them are terrible at it. The text in a now viral TikTok by user @brooklynandbailey, which currently has 1.4 million views, reads ‘asking my husband to clean up ketchup off the counter.’ When she tells her confused husband to clean it up the ketchup she squeezed on the kitchen counter, he proceeds to do so with his hand…

This is just one of an influx of trends that encourage TikTok users to test their partner for values such as fidelity and commitment to the relationship…

All of this has got us thinking: why are addicted to testing our boyfriends on TikTok? Of course like most things on the app, these trends are pretty entertaining - and it's pretty unlikely that everyone doing them is actually going to dump their boyfriend because they didn't peel them an orange. But there is something to be said about the popularity of these tests - the hashtag #orangepeeltheory has over 30 million views on the app, while #birdtest has 8.7 million - and also why we love watching them. Because if you're anything like us, it feels near impossible to scroll past a video of a confused boyfriend struggling to clean up ketchup.

These tests could be symptomatic of our wider dating culture. Whereas before we just had to contend with good old fashioned infidelity, we now have to navigate a world fuelled by ghosting, breadcrumbing, cookie-jarring, orbiting and cuffing - to name a few. More of us, for better or worse, are meeting partners on dating apps than ever before, but it's no secret that these are designed to be addictive. In a dating culture where choice is endless and new matches are just a click away, how can we ever be truly sure we're with the right person? Perhaps these relationship tests are a way of filling that existential void, while going a bit viral at the same time.

Relationship Psychologist Dr Limor Gottlieb explains that, although these trends seem innocent, we need to be aware of the 'underlying psychological motives' for relationship tests, which can have a positive or negative outcome depending on your expectations and your partner's reaction. 'Insecure people (those with an anxious or avoidant attachment style) are characterised by a profound fear of rejection, and are therefore on the constant lookout for early signs of rejection and they resort to manipulative strategies to test their partner’s love and care,' she says. 'This could not only set their partner up for failure if they can’t meet the expectations, but moreover it can result in disappointment and ultimately feeling rejected. We need to be aware that tests are usually manipulations and can therefore foster more insecurity rather than creating connection.'

In a sign we have reached peak relationship tests, there has even been a rise in 'stop testing your partner videos' on TikTok. User @alyssiacruztherapy says in a video 'Stop testing your partner with this orange peel method. It is giving high school drama, it is giving gossip advice column, it’s very gamey. We don’t want to be playing games in our relationships, and if you set up a scenario to ‘test’ your partner, you’re doing it wrong.’

If you feel the urge to test your partner, Dr Gottlieb recommends taking a moment to understand why. 'Instead, try open and honest communication by admitting to your partner that you may have to be reassured at times,' she said. 'Vulnerability creates deeper bonding. You’re trying to find more security in your relationship and there’s nothing wrong with that if you go about it in a healthy way.'…

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I figured I'd give this shot here, in case I could get any help.

The infamous promo of Paul Heyman verbally destroying Vince McMahon on the SmackDown before Survivor Series 2001 on November 15, 2001 from Albany, NY was, and still is, one of the greatest of all time. It had everything in it, from Heyman discussing old school promoters such as Sam Mushnick and Don Owen, to tearing apart Vince McMahon's terrible business ventures outside of wrestling. Granted, it is all building towards the "Winner Takes All" main event a few nights later, and Heyman getting his comeuppance from Tazz, but it is so ruthless in its delivery.

However, it might have been even more scathing.

Full disclosure: I love scouring vintage wrestling websites on Archive.org, looking at old news stories and seeing what might have came true and what was ultimately debunked. It's a complete giant waste of time, but I'm frequently intrigued on seeing how news was reported back then as compared to today's rapid-fire stories on Twitter and the like.

I came across the spoilers thread of the Smackdown tapings from 11/14/01 on LordsOfPain.net and caught this little bit when discussing the Paul Heyman promo on the taping:

Paul Heyman comes out to great heat from the crowd. Heyman wants to call Vince to his ring. Heyman pretty much trashes Vince on how he made wrestling into sports entertainment and trashed his failed football league. This prompts Vince to come out. Vince gets a huge pop from the crowd. Heyman pretty much tells him how he's ruined the names of Bruno Sammartino, Superstar Billy Graham, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels.

I was instantly intrigued. I didn't think I heard Sammartino and Superstar Billy Graham mentioned in the promos aired on the show. In fact, here is the transcript, credit to Cagematch.net, on that part of the promo it was mentioned:

You took Hulk Hogan's blood and you built Titan Towers. You stole Bret Hart's dream, and with that money, bought yourself an airplane with 'WWF' all over it. You did that, and you know it, you son of a bitch! You stole Shawn Michaels' smile, took your company public, and made yourself a billionaire. But not a self-made billionaire, like you like to tell everybody you are, oh no.

I started to scour all of the old dirtsheet websites that existed from back in the day and then came across RajahWWF.com. According to the article, here was the line apparently cut:

"It's not my fault. I'm not the one that lifts up my leg and pees all over the memory of Bruno Sammartino. I'm not the one that desecrates the memory of Superstar Billy Graham."

First, that's a killer line. Second, I could 100% see why this line might've been cut. Mr. Sammartino was still on the outs of the company, not making peace with the promotion he built until 2013, and Mr. Graham would make amends with WWE two years later.

With that said, I was wondering if the uncut version of this promo was ever released or leaked out to the internet or filmed fan cam style. I'd love to see it in context with the initial promo, and what the crowd reaction would have been like to that kind of line. I realize this is a bit of a long shot, but I wanted to see if anyone could possibly be of help.

Ok this is gonna be a very long, rambling, and probably somewhat disorganized post, so please bear with me.

I'm sure other people have had this same idea as well, but I'm not subscribed to the rebornevo forums and I'm not very active on this subreddit either, so I don't know how frequently it's been discussed outside of the small number of times I've seen it on Twitter, which still was after I had the thought when I first played V12 years ago. Even if it is I still wanted to try and organize my thoughts about it and present all of the evidence that brought me to think this even without engaging much with the larger community.

To jump right into it, the theory that I've been subscribing to for a pretty long time and was very confident in (until realizing some flaws with it) is that Madame X is the incarnation of Nymiera from Maria(nette)'s now dead universe, which is likely the same universe that Clear, Kieran, and potentially the Thunder Warrior Tapu Koko are from. She was defeated by her universe's Indriad but somehow managed to escape with her life, albeit badly injured, and was effectively out of commission, which led to Indriad eventually being able to bring about Storm 9 which would eventually lead to the end the world. Nymiera then likely got help from either her world's Xara and Jean, or Clear and Kieran themselves to construct her suit and escape to the next universe.

There's quite a few reasons I have to think this. I feel like a ton of evidence from throughout the game supports the idea, and I've been making note of them for years at this point. This is gonna be a bit meandering, but it's really difficult to organize thoughts about a plot as complicated as Rejuv's even if you're focusing on only one character, so again please bear with me:

• The most obvious point is that Madame X shows up directly in the prologue, to the Maria that becomes the one we meet in the Chrysalis manor. She clearly already has some amount of control over time at this point as well, meaning she had likely already claimed her world's time diamond but was unable to stop Indriad using it.
• Nymiera clearly still remembers the old world we learn about in the Third Layer. She knows Adrest by name and recognizes his presence within the player, hints at the emergence of the Zeight in the present day, and knows about the Archetype. Madame X, in the first cutscene where she's introduced at Blacksteeple, immediately refers to the player as the Interceptor, and she also clearly recognizes the power the Melia gains from the Archetype in the Bad Future. They in general seem to possess similar knowledge of major concepts like these.
  • Although you could argue that she might simply have learned about these things from Clear and Kieran, the fact that we see Madame X specifically talking to Maria in the prologue shows that she was at least aware of the Archetype already.
• This is an admittedly very small point that is potentially a coincidence, but I still want to acknowledge it: Madame X's suit seems to be evoking the image of a dragon and mostly uses dark colors. The two characters that we know are directly descended from Nymiera, Alexandra and Damian, favor Dragon and Dark type Pokemon, respectively.
• We know that Nymiera dual wielded crystal swords as her primary weapons rather than relying on Pokemon, and Madame X engages in combat almost exclusively with her sword. The only exception that we see is her attacking the player with her Yveltal at Blacksteeple Castle.
• We see the aforementioned crystal swords, as well as the corpse of Hazuki's Aegislash, within the storage room of the Chrysalis Manor, which all but confirms that Nymiera and the Defenders of Aevium were soundly defeated by Indriad in this timeline and he claimed their weapons as trophies.
  • As a small thought on the full fate of her world's defenders: Vivian was already dead because of the botched ritual, Hazuki was most likely killed, Anju was defeated but taken alive and imprisoned, likely to act as a potential vessel for Indriad (which is something I'd also like to talk about but that's best saved for another post). Given how cruel of a man Indriad is and how much he likes to torment people, I think that crippling Nymiera so she could no longer stand against him and then forcing her to live with the pain of her failure sounds like the type of thing he'd do. This is more of a headcanon, though, not something I'm actually trying to present as a major evidence for the theory.
• Because of .Karma Files we have explicit confirmation that Nymiera is an incarnation of Xerneas; it's a little on the nose for sure, but this can explain why she so heavily associates with the letter X, including why she took her name and took the name of Team Xen for her own, new organization even though it otherwise seems to be completely unrelated to the Team Xen of the Miera Region.
• If her mask is destroyed at the Pyramid, and she's effectively defeated prior to Clear and Kieran's intervention, she makes a remark about how the battle would have gone differently if not for her suit. It's vague, yes, but the implication is that the suit places some sort of limit on her power and she'd be far stronger without it, as while wearing it she can't fight at full capacity. This explains why she only wields one sword instead of two, as she likely can't dual wield without her full physical strength.
  
  • This next bit is straying into headcanon territory, so I don't fully count it for the theory, but we don't know exactly why she's wearing the suit; it's definitely not just to hide her identity, because there'd be far easier ways of doing that. I like to think that it's necessary for her to survive and limits her power to keep her from overexerting herself, similar to Darth Vader's suit from Star Wars. This would make sense with the idea I have that she was grievously wounded by Indriad even though she survived her fight with him.
• We know that there's a second Blacksteeple Castle on the same island that's hidden behind a protective barrier, which only Madame X can pass through. It's likely that this is the original Blacksteeple Castle and the one that we occupy during the prison arc is just a replica. We see in the Bad Future that Blacksteeple Castle has some sort of connection to Nymiera with the mosaic that we see. It's confirmed by Madame X that Blacksteeple was once Nymiera's castle, that she lost in the war mentioned in the legend that Nymiera tells to us. This would explain why Madame X is so protective of the original castle in the present day and why she can access it.
  • This would also explain why so much Xerneas iconography is still included in the replica of the castle.
    
• Speaking of Blacksteeple in the Bad Future: when confronted with the mosaic of Nymiera, Madame X calls her a cowardly and weak woman who couldn't protect what she needed to when it mattered most. This attitude already does make sense for her to have, but if she is the Nymiera who was defeated by Indriad in Maria's timeline, it only makes even more sense. She is so disgusted at herself for her own failure that she threw away her old name and forsakes her old actions, and looks down upon the Nymiera of the current timeline for making the same mistakes that she feels she did.
  
• We already know from the Regi sidequests in V13.5 that Nymiera's view of morality was a bit... warped, and she was willing to do some truly inhumane and manipulative shit if she thought it was necessary for the good of the many. Madame X's methods are obviously far more extreme than Nymiera's ever were, but even though her motivations and ultimate goal are unclear there's still hints that all of the things she's responsible for are, to her, just a means to an end. If Madame X is Nymiera, with her spirit having been broken by her failure to stop her world's Indriad, it's not hard to see how that already warped "Good of the many no matter the cost" mentality could evolve into doing absolutely anything to achieve her goals.
• The underground chamber in Kugearen where we find the Weird Diary has a lot going on, but the notable things are the statues of the Defenders,drawing of the Archetype, and map of present day Aevium. Hazuki's is missing, and Anju and Nymiera's are destroyed, with the game specifically noting that their eyes are torn out. There is no statue of Hazuki, and Vivian's is not only intact, but poised for battle. To break this all down a bit:
  • The Archetype symbol being so prominent as well as the present-day map show that it's someone who can both time travel and knows about the Archetype
  • The three states are of the Defenders that we know will suffer a poor fate.
    • Hazuki's is missing because she is the only that survived.
    • Vivian's is standing and complete because she was the only one able to mostly die on her own terms, but her spirit still struggled because of the failed spell; being poised for battle still lines up with the curse placed on her reincarnations.
    • Anju and Nymiera are both missing in the present day and were never seen again. Anju's fate is ambiguous, but obviously there's something going on with Angie (Which I have another theory about, but again, story for another post). Nymiera's spirit has appeared, but clearly can only do so much, as her only real act aside from talking to the player is transferring Hazuki's power to Saki.
  • Nymiera fancied herself an artist, and seemed to especially like working with stone given the many statues in Blacksteeple as well as the multiple stone carvings in her room.
  • All of this points to someone who can reliably time travel, knows of the archetype, has knowledge of Rift Pokemon, and has an intimate knowledge of the Defenders and their fates. Madame X is the only person who meets all of those first few qualifications, and it's also worth noting that Madame X's suit distinctly lacks eyes, similar to the two statues.

Essentially, the image I see with this is a Nymiera who became so disgusted at her own failures that she threw everything away, including her old identity, and and decided the best way to create a good world was to tear everything down and rebuild it herself, taking her belief in "The good of the many" to its furthest extreme and becoming a vengeful and bitter person in the process. She keeps "protecting" the Interceptor in hopes that their own quest will eventually guide them to resetting everything and destroying Karma for good.

However... in the process of thinking through this all over the last couple days, I realized several holes in this theory that I have to acknowledge, and keep it from really being an effective one.

First, if Nymiera is the avatar of Xerneas, then why is Madame X only ever seen using a Yveltal?

Second, the one aspect of Madame X's backstory story that she elected to reveal to us is about her mother. In her own words, "My "mother" was a weak individual who gave her life to protect me". Not only does Nymiera never hint at anything remotely similar this, but none of Adrest, Variya, or any of the files Adrest sends to Erin hint at anything even remotely close to this for Nymiera.

Third, which I think is the biggest issue: when we see Madame X's mask get broken by Sakitron at the pyramid, what little we see of her appearance doesn't exactly match up with Nymiera. What appears to be black hair could also just be a broken piece of her mask, her eyes are a bright red, and even though we barely see any skin, it visibly is not as dark as Nymiera's.

The first point is actually pretty easy to explain: the Yveltal is Indriad. Obviously we don't know how Indriad became a Yveltal, but there is precedent for shit like this happening and there's multiple hints towards it:

• Indriad is confirmed at the end of .Karma files is an avatar of Yveltal in the same way that Nymiera is one of Xerneas.
• In the Bad Future, when Melanie summons her Yveltal, she explicitly refers to it as her father. Melanie is a bad future version of Melia, Melia is in some capacity connected to Maria and is still explicitly related to Indriad's kids, the implication is pretty clear.
• There are other physical avatars of legendaries in the game: Spacea and Tiempa, who both can transform into the legendaries they are the avatars of. I don't know if it's ever been confirmed if Griselda was an explicit avatar of Giratina, but nonetheless, she was permanently transformed into one and can't change back. It's not unreasonable to see something similar happening to Indriad given that we don't know his final fate in the game's main timeline yet.
• Yes, this means there's some fucky shit going on with Angie, I have ideas about that as well but that also takes a ton of explanation and is best saved for a different post.

The other two though... I think more or less disprove the theory. Family-related trauma is already one of the game's biggest theme; if Nymiera had something related to her mother, it would have been made clear by this point. And there's just no way that I can think of to really justify the drastic difference in appearance between the two. I could simply handwave it and say "The differences in appearance are either a spriting error or a lighting thing with her helmet" and "We just haven't learned about Nymiera's mother yet", but both of those would just be copout answers to ignore.

I'm still confident that I'm onto something here and there is a connection between these two characters,

...so instead I came up with a crackpot theory that nonetheless I think has a nonzero chance of being true, although its much less liekly .

Madame X isn't an alternate universe Nymiera. She's an alternate universe Nim.

Is it a stupid assertion? Yes. But hear me out, starting with some of the more minor points:

• There is very obviously a connection between Nim and Nymiera. The game's placed a lot of emphasis on Nim's relationship to Alexandra and Damian, Nymiera's direct descendents, and Nim took her name from Nymiera's. When Nim appears in the flashback with Alexaandra and Damian she's calling out the names of Hazuki and the player character, yelling for them to watch out. This implies four things:
  • Nim originates in the past and was sent into the future.
  • Given that we haven't met her in the past, she probably comes into existence in the state that she already was.
  • Nim will meet the player and Hazuki in the past during some dangerous event, most likely a final battle with Indriad before Storm-9 fully hits, as we still don't know the final fate of the Defenders.
  • She doesn't say Anju and Nymiera's names, implying either something already happened to them or Nim was cut off in the middle of her sentence when she was sent forward in time.
• Despite Madame X claiming that Nymiera is dead, her spirit has appeared multiple times and is still very aware of the ongoing plot. Her body, however, has not.
• Clear going out of her way to manipulate Nim shows that Madame X likely has an interest in Nim herself.
• While she obviously prefers to use her psychic abilities, Nim's still clearly proficient with melee weapons as there's a handful of times where she uses her... hairpin things as a polearm of sorts.

There's three main reasons I think there actually is something here though: Nim's physical appearance, Madame X's "mother", and the reason Madame X needs her suit despite it making her weaker.

First: Nim's physical appearance is extremely similar to Madame X's under her mask. As Lorna, we can see that her pupils have a red hue very similar to Madame X's. Looking at both Nim's sprites and her official art, her skin tone is lighter than Nymiera's but still darker then most of the rest of the cast, which also lines up with the broken mask. Finally, assuming Madame X actually has black hair and that's not just a broken part of her mask in the sprite, Nim's hair is the same color.

Second: When Madame X mentions her "Mother", its quoted, presumably for air quotes. While it could just be her disrespecting her "Mother", it feels far more significant than that, like its moreso implying that whoever she's talking about wasn't her mother in the traditional sense. Madame X also states that the difference between her "Mother"'s sacrifice and the player's mom's sacrifice is that the player's mom's didn't matter; thus indirectly implying that Madame X's mom's sacrifice was important even if she looks down upon her mom for it. Assuming that Nymiera shares some connection to Nim- be it that Nymiera created her, Nim is her reincarnation, or something else- it's not unreasonable to think that Nim, after overcoming her memory issues, could view Nymiera as something of a mother figure, especially considering that Nim took her name Nymiera's because she felt a connection.

Third: The suit. There's a very obvious reason that Nim would need a suit to suppress her own power: to keep herself from draining the life force of her subordinates and stop her own Storm from getting out of control. It's a leap, sure, but it would explain why she needs a suit that actively inhibits her.

Why would Nim be doing all of this, and how would she become such a cruel and vengeful person? We see something similar happen to our own Nim through Clear's manipulation through preying on her fears and insecurities. Assuming bad enough shit happened to her, I could absolutely see an alternate universe Nim who lacked the support of characters like Aelita, Melia, and the Player going down this path.

Is this theory accurate? Probably not, but it was really fun to think about. I never fucking know what's gonna happen with this game which is why it's so fun to speculate about the absolute mess of lore that it has.

hey there!

wanted to give some backstory on the new product myself and a few others are spinning up...

recently i put together my first ar15 build. for anyone that has built their own rifle (or pistol), you know the gun building rabbit holes are endless. but after watching a hundred youtube videos and googling "does this part fit this part," you end up with a base understanding of how guns work / go together. ultimately, there's a bit of a learning curve.

since i've built my last few gaming computers (the most recent build was so i could play escape from tarkov @ high fps), i started looking for a pcpartspicker tool for the gun world, and i found a few, but they were either slow, didn't showing pricing, compatibility was broken, no accurate 3D interactions, etc., so i started scheming...

fast forward and we've put together a small team to bring an mvp to life. the team's background ranges from founding 7 figure software companies to rendering CAD designs for some of the biggest gun manufactures out there.

What happened

During the gruelling campaign against the Hrud where Petra and the Anvil fought side by side together with their legion they suddenly received an emergency message from Olympia sent by Petra’s adoptive sister Calliphone. The message went on to deliver the news that Olympia have fallen into disarray with the widespread discontent devolving into outright violence and a civil war ensued. This devastating news led to Petra having to cut her campaign short right on the eve of the decisive battle against the last of the Hrud, deeming the threat to be mostly neutralised and Olympia being a bigger priority.

On their journey returning to Olympia, there was a heated discussion between Petra , her inner circle known as the Trident and The Anvil on the most appropriate course of action. While Petra wanted to swiftly end the conflict by putting down all the warring factions violently and eliminate all those responsible for Olympia falling into such disarray, her Anvil, ever the diplomat at heart suggest only eliminating those who refuse to stand down and come to the negotiating table to resolve the cause of discontent and reform the planet’s government to prevent such an incident from ever occurring again. Despite everyone, including Petra herself, agreeing to this course of action, it was all for naught as when the Iron Warriors landed on Olympia, they were immediately fired upon by one of the many insurrectionist factions. Already being enraged from having to cut the Hrud campaign short, such an act of defiance, by her own home world no less, proved to be the last straw as the Countess of Iron immediately rescinded her previous orders and instead ordered the Iron warriors to eliminate of anyone even showing any hint of resistance or sympathy towards the insurgents.

Immediately after Petra’s new orders were issued, the Anvil left and informed several likeminded officers who , along with the men under their command, decided to join their Primarch’s lover in stopping this madness. They immediately contacted Calliphone and began coordinating evacuation efforts and delaying the Iron Warriors under Petra for as long as possible by causing deliberate miscommunication and sowing general confusion within the ranks with the help of those Iron Warriors who while sympathetic to their cause dared not to openly oppose their Primarch. This was met with relative success as several units of Iron Warriors “accidentally” marched on an uninhabited area on the planet or deliberately loudly discussing Petra’s latest orders within earshot of Olympian citizens. Despite this relative success, many Iron Warriors, especially those under Petra’s direct command, still followed through with the Primarch’s orders which led to the death of at least over half of the planet’s population with thousands remaining unaccounted for.

The deception could not go on forever however, and Petra soon learn of the actions of her lover and adoptive sister. Enraged and confused by the actions of the two people she trusted most, the countess of Iron stopped her assault and contacted both the Anvil and Calliphone under a flag of truce to discuss the matter and understand why they would go to such lengths for people she perceived as “traitors and rebels”. Petra and her officers arrived at the agreed upon location for the truce to find only her lover and Calliphone waiting there. It is not fully known what truly transpired during the discussion but it ultimately ended with Calliphone’s death and the Anvil being allowed to peacefully leave Olympia alongside all the people they’ve saved , the soldiers and Iron Warriors who chose to follow them.

Years later, a rumor within the legion would surface telling of what happened with the alleged source of this story being one of the officers who accompanied Petra to the truce negotiations. According to this rumor, it was said that the discussion got heated when Calliphone began berating the Primarch about how she should’ve contacted Calliphone first and that Petra has “taken things too far”. Offended by such remarks from a “mere mortal” one of the junior officers accompanying Petra grabbed her by the throat and strangled her on the spot. This drew the ire of Petra who felt that the officer had not only violated her command but made her into an oathbreaker, the Primarch then proceeded to beat the officer to death with her bare hands on the spot before accepting the terms presented by her lover and allow them to leave in peace as is officially known.

Once the Anvil and those that have accompanied her had left Olympia, Petra had begun creating the design for the robots that would later become known as The Iron Circle as she felt that she no longer had anyone she could fully trust by her side. Meanwhile, the Anvil sought out the warsmith Barabas Dantioch who assisted them in properly organising a fleet and finding a relatively unknown and well hidden planet to temporarily act as a base for both the refugees of Olympia and the soldiers and Astartes who followed them.

Once the heresy had broken out the Anvil was initially horrified and appalled by Petra’s actions on Istvaan V. However, horror soon made way for concern once a member of the Trident contacted the Anvil, informing them of the events that transpired on Iydris and how Petra nearly died at the hands of her own sister, Fulgrim. Determined to settle their conflicting emotions of horror for her prior actions and concern given the recent events that occurred they decided to confront Petra one last time to discuss the future of their relationship.

The Anvil chose to make their way towards Terra knowing that the traitors would definitely concentrate all their forces there and hoping to confront Petra alongside most of their Astartes and soldiers while leaving the Olympian refugees under the protection of a small garrison force. However, their fleet were suddenly intercepted by an Alpha Legion warship who informed them that they should avoid entering the Sol system as the siege of Terra was already well underway and gave them information on how Petra and the Iron Warriors would soon be replaced by the Death Guard as the ones leading the siege of Terra along with how the Warmistress sought to use the Iron Warriors on Terra as a spearhead to soak up most of the casualties before sending in her own legion into the fray. Understanding that such actions could unnecessarily put Petra in great danger, the Anvil chose to forward all of this information along with a message to meet and talk about their relationship and “forever home” later using a direct communication device given to them by Petra before departing Olympia all those years ago. The Anvil later received a reply from Petra thanking them for the information and was informed that the given info was one of the deciding factors in her decision to abandon the siege of Terra. The message then went on to state that they should meet and discuss their future together after she settled things “one last time” with her sister Dorn.

Later on, the Anvil received another message from an agent of the Alpha Legion stating that they should ”Head to Sebastus IV as soon as possible, or risk losing the one you love forever”. Given that this was from the same Alpha Legionnaire who informed them of the siege of Terra, they chose to believe it and immediately head for the planet alongside their retinue of men. The Anvil arrived at the “Eternal Fortress” on the planet near the end of the battle that would later be known as the “Iron Cage”. While the battle was nearly over the Anvil finally managed to confront Petra just as she was about to begin her ritual of sacrificing Imperial Fist gene seed to ascend to daemonhood.

When they were reunited for the first time in years, the Anvil began pleading for Petra to just abandon the ritual and leave together to a peaceful place where they can settle down and build their “Forever Home” together. After a moment of silence that seemed to last an eternity, Petra finally ordered the gene seed to be removed from her presence ordered a general withdrawal and departed with her lover before the Ultramarines arrived to relieve the fists.

In her final actions as the leader of her legion Petra guided them to the planet of Medrengard and built the fortress there to act as their new base of operations and left her legion under the command of the Trident before giving the Astartes in her legion a choice between peacefully retiring to the hidden world where the descendants of the refugees from Olympia resides or continue the long war here in Medrengard.

Once all was said and done, Petra relinquished the command of her legion and departed her lover abroad the Iron Blood, guarded by The Iron Circle. Finally leaving all the war and bloodshed behind for good and depart for their “Forever Home”.

Afterword: Oh man this one took quite a bit of work lol I was gonna write about what they’re currently up to in the 41st millennium but I just felt that leaving it open ended like this is probably better.

As for the nickname “Anvil” that was something I came up with myself based on Perty’s canon nickname of the “Hammer of Olympia” so I decided to make the SO an anvil to go along with Petra’s hammer. It’s also a reference to how anvils acts a workbench for the hammer and help support/soak up the hammer’s strikes much like the pair’s relationship dynamic.

So I am not necessarily new to ultimate been playing for a little while know most of the basics however for my flicks I continue to get blisters on my middle finger where my middle finger touches the rim of the frisbee, I temporarily fixed this by wearing gloves but as time goes on the gloves lose grip and they don’t help as much, I am wondering if anyone has any advice to help prevent getting blisters as it makes it incredibly annoying to throw with them(also if this helps I do more of a peace sign grip when throwing middle finger on the rim and pointer finger towards the middle of the frisbee)

According to this, the God Emperor took another potentially catastrophic swipe at RFK Junior a few days ago. Unless Trump wants to commit political suicide, he needs to stop doing this immediately.

Junior is the nephew of a President who was:-

a} One of the most powerful, charismatic orators in American history.

b} Governed during what was probably the second most prosperous period in the country's history, after Eisenhower.

c} A martyr of the Deep State.

In the American (and even international) imagination, there is a very thick layer of golden fog surrounding Jack Kennedy; probably the third thickest after Eisenhower and Lincoln. Because of this, Trump attacking his nephew is going to have approximately equivalent optics to him using a double barrelled shotgun to shoot an infant kitten in the face, and then laughing hysterically into a camera.

I know Trump is not a man who customarily cares about how attacking other people, affects his own image; but in this case, he needs to. Junior could very quickly assume the role of America's answer to King Arthur; the proverbial Once and Future King who has come back to not only restore the ideals of his uncle, but of the Republic more broadly. Trump likes viewing himself as an American saviour in the same light; but the difference is that Junior is the real thing, while Trump is a pretender, and Trump's attacks of Junior, and Junior's own responses, have demonstrated that both strikingly and consistently.

That is the first reason why Trump should not attack Junior. The second reason is because it is unnecessary. Junior has both a legendary family association, and a degree of genuine integrity. Trump is an aspirant dictator. The ONLY possible effect a comparison with Junior could have on Trump, is negative.

Trump should pretend that RFK does not exist. He should not mention him. He should have nothing whatsoever to do with him at all.

I’m over 3 months into a break up with someone who I was at one point saving up money on a wedding ring for. 4 1/2 years. Over. Just like that. I knew it was the correct decision when I did it. That said… I’m still in my own process. I got a therapist, been seeing the sun more than I ever have in my life, and been staying sober after having years of on and off substance abuse issues with weed and liquor. Nothing major but enough to cause issues both internally and externally in my life. I hated where I was towards the end of that relationship.

I’m not going to talk negatively about her. I can but I don’t see the use in airing out our dirty laundry we muddied together. This post is just a reminder to everyone here who is going through a breakup dumping someone (or even thinking about breaking up)… stick to it (or do it). Trust your gut. If you broke up with them it was likely for good reason. If you’re on the edge, just understand there is nothing wrong with ending a relationship. Life is far too short to compromise yourself in the veil of love despite feeling unwell. Breaking up with this woman was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. It was ultimately worth it. I’m the fittest I’ve been in years. I’m mentally the most clear headed I’ve felt in a long time. I’m feeling like me again.

For those who have been dumped… admittedly this post ain’t for you. However you never wanna be with someone who gave up on that relationship. Take it from me, I’ve been there. Everyone should be in a relationship with someone who unapologetically loves you for you. Not an idea of you. Hope everyone here is healing in a responsible way.
