Looking primarily for Paypal EU offers. If you're not from EU I will only sell if you cover the paypal fees and pay in EUR instead of your native currency. I do not have a specific price for any games atm, I'm open to offers. Aside from games listed in the title I'm not very interested in offers for new games atm, even wishlisted ones

If it has "may keep" I have minor interest in the game and will likely decline any offers for it. I'd prefer to trade away games I have no interest in or own already. If I redeem it i'll remove it from the list.

DO NOT send me a chat invite before having agreed on a trade in the comments. I do not check chat often and it's a rule to not send a chat invite before commenting anyway.

If this post is more than 24-48 hours old it might not be up to date and you should check the latest trading post or my full list of tradables to see if the game(s) you want are still there.

Full wishlist here: https://barter.vg/u/80b7/w/

How can I enjoy Minecraft again

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:19

For ages, I was all about Minecraft. It was my ultimate escape. Whether I was crafting massive structures, exploring dangerous caves, or fighting off those mobs, the game kept me hooked. But as time passed, the hype faded. The landscapes I once found thrilling started feeling meh.

It wasn't like a lightbulb moment, more like a slow realization that Minecraft wasn't hitting the same spot anymore. The excitement dwindled, replaced by a boring routine. Exploring felt less like an adventure and more like a chore.

Recently I want to play Minecraft again, but the question is, how can I enjoy play Minecraft again?

Best reasonably priced cover for outdoor use on E36 M3?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:16

I had an OE cover bought in 2019. That lasted until 2022 when I bought another OE. That replacement is now in tatters too, possibly from the neighbors cats.

Don’t have a garage where I’m living and have to park beneath a tree so cover is pretty much a requirement.

Any suggestions on one that’s available in 2024 and doesn’t cost even more than a OE one? Would prefer one that lets less dust through, but ultimately am ok with whatever is best for the Avus paint and dove interior.

What is your characters story ?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:13

Can be a character from each game or a continued character like mine

Here’s my character(s) (opinions are welcome)

My character in fallout 76 was a businessman and a war veteran and, before the war, lived in the west coast, had a child with his wife but had to leave to West Virginia for 3 months due to work. He had the work privilege of being able to be registered into any vault that he was near to during his business trips. During his trip to West Virginia the bombs obviously dropped and he was shoved into vault 76 for 25 years while his son and wife were in vault 13 in California (back to this later). So then he eventually sets out in the wasteland , after a few years he meets a young(ish) girl and starts a family.

On the west coast , main character of fallout 1 is his direct descendants , which also means the chosen one is too.

On the east coast , James and Lone Wanderer is also is direct descendants.

My main character is lone wanderer, he exits the vault, becomes a certified badass but loses loved ones in the capital wasteland including a love interest who gets kidnapped by slavers and as a dying wish she asks him to free the slaves in the Pitt.

He goes to the Pitt , realises that the raider leader is actually trying to build a community and lets the raiders do their thing. Feeling as though he betrayed his good natured father and his love interest but ultimately making a decision to rebuild the world, immense guilt comes over him so he decides to head west until he hits California , becomes a caravan guard and bounty hunter then eventually a courier.

After the second battle of hoover dam, he still feels guilty and feels as though he owes something to the east coast to help it prosper a little more.

He heads back to the east coast but instead of the capital wasteland, he lands in Boston where he does his best to fix his past wrongs and bring civility back to the east through building settlements and supply lines (THANK YOU “START ME UP - REDUX”)

Tldr: all my characters from 76 - 4 are connected with my main character build being FO3, FNV & FO4

Am I being an asshole?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:13

My wife (F24) and I (M25) have been married for 6 months. The relationship before marriage had its ups and downs like any other, nothing out of the ordinary. These last 6 months however we haven't really fought or had any major disagreement... until now.

A bit of context: she has some kind of fatigue syndrome (we've been working hard to get a diagnosis), I'm on the spectrum and have chronic lower back pain. She goes to the office 3 days a week and I always work from home.

Quick background: she's dealing with a fatigue syndrome (still waiting on a diagnosis), while I'm on the spectrum and have chronic back pain. She works at the office three days a week, I'm WFH full-time. I handle most chores—cooking, dishes, cleaning, dog duty—except laundry and decorating, which she does occasionally. I footed all our bills and dates for a year while she couldn't work, and after I was fired I spent months job hunting for both of us.

She's also super sensitive due to past trauma and stopped therapy post-wedding, relying on me for all her emotional needs. Like clockwork, every couple of days, she spirals into an emotional breakdown about work, money, appearance, family—you name it. I get it, but it's taxing. Because of this I don't really have hobbies or time for my own. We always do everything together, we watch and listen to whatever she wants, otherwise she feels neglected. The only time I have for myself is my time at work when she's at the office.

Last night she was having a breakdown because next week will be very busy for her at work. I was feeling pretty drained myself, so I probably came off a bit more direct than usual when trying to comfort her, but it seemed to help. I offerred to make a meal for her and she snapped, saying there was nothing to eat, which got to me because we actually have plenty of food. Still, I told her I would come up with something. She immediately said that it was a complete mess downstairs. This also upset me because I know it's a mess and I didn't have time during the week to clean up... but she never offered to help me either.

I cleaned up and brought her food to bed, told her I was going to drink some hot chocolate while I read in another room. I read for like 45 minutes and that put me in a better mood. Came back, cleaned up the dishes, and checked in on her. Turns out, she wasn't feeling great. Asked her what was up, and she started tearing up again, saying she hates being left alone—it brings back bad memories from her childhood. I get it, but I was just reading for a little while. She got angry, saying I should be more understanding.

By this point, I was exhausted and upset because I didn't believe I had done anything wrong. Despite my efforts to calm her, she only grew angrier.

When she gets angry, her reaction is consistent regardless of what I say. She avoids eye contact, speaks bluntly, and dismisses my thoughts. When I pointed out this pattern, she became even angrier (which I should have anticipated, but I was too worn out). The conversation typically follows this script:

Me: "I feel like arguing this way isn't productive..."

Her: "We're not arguing"

Me: "It seems like you're upset and not really willing to listen."

Her: "I'm not upset."

Me: "..."

Her: "I'm not upset. Will you tell me what you want to say or not?"

Usually, I give in and express my feelings, only to be met with relentless questioning until I'm emotionally drained and end up crying and apologizing. This time I told her I wouldn't continue if it continued like this. She asked why I hesitated, and I admitted fearing her reaction. I spent hours with a headache before falling asleep, had a few nightmares even.

This morning I attempted to revisit the conversation with a lighter tone, but she remained as upset as the night before. I laid out my feelings: exhaustion from work, the strain of her frequent breakdowns, my efforts to accommodate her at my own expense, and the lack of space for myself without triggering guilt trips. She broke down, saying she couldn't sleep well thinking that I was afraid of her, that "fear" is such a strong word that she would never use against anyone. But, honestly, it felt performative...

Ultimately, she asked what we should do. I conceded to avoid using "afraid" again, to try not to upset her, and to alter my approach in discussing feelings. She didn't apologize for her behavior or promise to avoid making me feel bad again.

Now, she's out with her parents (unrelated to our argument, they had plans). I feel emotionally drained. Am I truly at fault? Why can't I express myself without being vilified when she freely shares her feelings daily? All I wanted was to read my goddamm book.

Since I don't feel comfortable talking with her about my feelings, I'm looking for an appointment with a psychologist to get professional insight, but I just wanted to know what other people think about this situation.

CSR, CSP, AMEX Gold or another card?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:12

Getting married in September, 2025. Fiance and I are looking to maximize spending in form of cc rewards. The ultimate goal is to be able to book flights for honeymoon, which is going to be in Australia (coming from US).

Checked out a bunch of resources on partner airlines for flights to AUS and it seems like it comes down to the Chase ecosystem or AMEX. Not sure our habits make sense for the platinum so would most likely go gold for AMEX.

Thoughts choosing between CSR, CSP or Amex Gold? Open to other suggestions as well. We are willing to refer one another as well.

Incomes: $120K and $180K Current cards: AMEX BCE, Discover It, Chase Prime Spending categories: mostly dining, occasional travel Credit scores: 780 and 800+

Thanks in advance!

Just put my Legends Ultimate HD together and am seeking advice on next steps.

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 16:11

I would like to be using my own games. I have downloaded Coinopsx 5 with full sauce. I've powered the cabinet on and it shows it has version 10940_A18, and I have a low profile USB 3.1 thumb drive that should be big enough. I've read through some stuff and have become a little confused as to how to get things going. I am wondering if someone could please share with me what my next steps are in getting this set up with CoinopsX. I keep seeing that updating to the latest firmware is fine as long as you don't leave your Coinopsx set up thumb drive connected. Should I update the firmware to the current version prior to setting up CoinopsX, or should I be trying to find the 5.68 firmware and update to that? Any guidance is greatly appreciated :)

Breakfast included?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 13:19

Hi guys, can anybody help? We have the “free” dining package for next year staying at the animal kingdom lodge. It was the only dining option available, I couldn’t seem to find any information about breakfast.

The package includes: 1 Quick service meal 1 table service meal 1 additional snack A Refillable mug

This is the ultimate meal plan and like all the other it doesn’t mention breakfast nor does there appear to be an option to upgrade to include it?

Is "No means no" affecting how younger women tolerate constructive feedback in the workplace?

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 13:19

Obviously this is a rather inciting bit of insight. It has high potential for controversy due to it targeting "no means no" (henceforth NMN) as being a valid means of conferring autonomy towards a woman's decision whether to accept carnal advances. Plus, it's entirely anecdotal and derived from an extremely small sample size. Bear with me, please, because I'm not discrediting NMN but rather posing an admittedly odd suggestion that it's being mis-applied in contexts entirely unrelated to its original purpose.

In my job, I come from a position of experience and regularly coach more recent hires. In my past, through years of trial and error, plus listening and enquiring about the different strategies that other people teach me, I would learn, adapt, and overall improve my performance and thus be confident in what I suggest. Even to do this day, if someone has a suggestion for me, then I listen. And if I don't automatically agree with the recommendations they provide or I don't understand how they reached their conclusions, then I ask questions until typically we reach a mutual understanding and both act in agreement. Through cogent arguments, we resolve differences to better ourselves and overall perform at a higher level. When both parties are being sensible about approaching a disagreement this way, it leads to such good results and should be considered common sense. Therefore, while I don't expect, nor necessarily want, the people under me to automatically agree with everything I propose, I do at least want them to intelligently discuss our different approaches and use reason to achieve understanding.

Younger men and older women (30+) tend to apply the direction that they’re given or they apologize for deviating. But, if they tend to be recalcitrant, their reasoning tends to be more goal-oriented: “I’m fast and generate the results you want regardless of method”, or “Doing what you want is reliant on external factors like corporate or customer cooperation that I don’t think will be appreciably affected by my efforts”, or “I’m just here for the paycheck and don’t really care to listen.” I don’t really like the cynicism prevalent in these kinds of responses, but at least they give me an idea of how the person is processing the recommendations.

However, I noticed a tendency for younger women (in their 20s) to apparently just shut themselves off when contested. They would say, "Well, I think my way is better" and, when asked "why" they think that way, they would say, "I don't have to justify myself", or "I just think it's better," or "please stop arguing", or "you just don't understand me," or they stop talking (acting like they agree with what I finished saying) and continue to do what they want. So, I would tell them something like how they're not making an effort to be compelling and so they can't expect their point of view to be persuading -- and then they just say something like, "I don't need to be persuasive" or "It doesn't matter, because I'm right."

For example:

Me: "If you want to convince someone that your method is best, then you need to establish how it's more efficient, right?"

Her: "Sure."

Me (condensed): "With my technique, you skip steps 2 and 4 without compromising performance."

Her: "Okay..."

Me: "So, what benefits would your strategy offer?"

Her: "I don't have to explain."

Me: So, how do you expect to persuade me, or anyone at all, with that kind of dismissive treatment? If you want to show me how you're right, then you should either counter my points or offer more compelling points."

Her: "I don't have to do anything for you."

That was a really disconcerting conversation. Her behavior, as someone who was only in the industry for a few months, was nonsensically antagonistic, made even more peculiar because I was both a longstanding member of the workforce and also her manager. I was flummoxed, because she seemed like an otherwise intelligent girl who was going through college for a science degree and it seems inconceivable that she would have gone through all of that education without developing critical thinking skills for the formulation of a thesis in various assignments. She may even have been trolling me, but then why would she ever debase herself with the surety that her stance was the end of discussion and that I was rude for not second-guessing myself? That is, she was acting confident -- and I doubt that someone would act confident if they understood that their behavior was deliberately being, well, dumb. It's like someone saying, "I'm right because 2+2 equals 56 and orange rhymes with blue": it’s patently insane and therefore no sane person would consider it and think they can "get away" with saying it. But, if they *believe* that they're sane, then I'm working with a large number of genuinely insane people; or they're just being rebellious trolls trying to get away with poor work ethic; or they are operating on some kind of premise that conveniently justifies what they want. Arguably, it has to be at least one of those, right?

I've debated a lot of people over the years on various topics and found many cases of flawed thinking. People can be rather egotistic and, therefore, automatically conclude that their conclusions are correct and they would, when contested, retroactively justify themselves. They would also disregard data, exhibit semantic inflexibility, jump to conclusions, make appeals to authority, and do so many other things that left me dismayed. It’s universal, so nothing to do with generations or gender. But that was mainly "flawed thinking" -- it wasn't "no thinking", this tendency to shut off completely from talking and treating any attempt to do so like it's an insult. But why are younger women, specifically, almost exclusively the ones observed to do this?

So, I wondered: in what circumstance can young women predominantly consider themselves justified for saying nothing more than "no" and have it be socially acceptable? Eventually, after several years, NMN, comes to mind.

There's probably several different versions of NMN:

  1. Don't assault someone. Unless they provide enthusiastic consent, then any verbal or carnal activity directed towards them is considered assault. (Valid as it is, this is *not* the one I'm referring to for the purposes of this thought experiment.)
  2. Don't pressure someone. If they refuse to provide enthusiastic consent, then the only correct course is to obey and abey. No-one is obligated to explain why they said no, and any attempt to ask is not only rude but liable to be considered pressure, which can be tantamount to harassment. NMN: "I reached my decision and staying in this topic means disrespecting my autonomy. No means ... no explanation needed."

Assuming that NMN in this 2nd context is being circulated and normally accepted, then is it possible that this proverbial "get out of jail free card" has been extrapolated for use to supplant general discourse and reason? I certainly hope not, because it's ultimately taking a matter of consent and transposing it onto matters of goal-oriented thought processes based on real-world, measurable factors external to one's moods and desires. They just can't be used together. But apart from the aforementioned insanity or puerile rebellion (which, allow me to insist, are both still plausible in a given case), that's the only other potential line of thought I found that's separate from those possibilities. This line of thinking has been disconcerting and I wanted to express it in writing to help understand it better.

Saying "no" and accepting it as a matter-of-fact is a ridiculously impractical way to function in a world that doesn't necessarily guarantee to match every one of someone's expectations, so how does it happen at all? If someone goes through life living with a mental rule like that which makes it impossible to address a roadblock on its own terms, then they're going to find many problems to be unpassable. They'll just get angry. At some point, when faced with enough problems that simply saying "no" can't overcome, then you'd think that people would quickly grow out of that myopic way of thinking. Or they'll simply act angry and closeminded whenever they're contested and hopefully the people talking to them just give up with exasperation -- being right by merit of being pure stubborn, so to speak. But then, why do they do it at all, regardless of the origin? Well, why not phrase it more broadly: why do so many people commit just general fallacies so common that these fallacies can be readily found online? Well, that requires some assumptions on my part. Maybe most people go through life unchallenged: they follow the status quo, or they don't feel comfortably experienced to define their own conclusions for many things, or they're tested in education for retention rather than critical analysis. Egotism, as mentioned above, can also play a role in deciding how one wants to approach life. Thus, they may not develop the skills to think nor the open-mindedness to consider anything besides their default. So, when they find an easy means to get the solution they want, then they ardently grasp it without necessarily considering the implications or limitations of using that approach, even if it’s only expected to be utilized a sparse number of times. I don’t mean that they hear about NMN and think, “Wow, I’m going to try that for other situations!” Instead, I think it’s more about getting a “sense” that the technique works and is socially acceptable and then that creates a sort of neural pathway, a mental shortcut, something that is meant to be used intuitively. They might rarely, if ever, need to use it, but they will continue to do so until they come to a point in their life when they realize it doesn't necessarily work well in all applications or even in general. If this is correct, then my hope is that they would accrue enough real-world experience to handle disagreements in a less confrontational fashion.

Season 8 DLC Predictions/Concepts

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 13:18

As has already been reported, the most popular theory/leak is that Season 8 will be Momoshiki, Karin, and Edo Hiruzen. However, I don't think Edo Hiruzen is legit. Rather, I think Edo Hiruzen is a red herring that was leaked alongside two correct characters in order to protect the leaker. I think the third character will actually be Hebi Sasuke, and it makes sense, since we have 4 Narutos but only 3 Sasukes, so in my opinion, it's only right that we get a 4th version of Sasuke to keep him even with Naruto, and the only version of Sasuke they can really do that will have minimal overlap with the others is Hebi Sasuke with his Chidori variants and Curse Mark transformation. I'll even take a crack at doing concepts for all three, although Momoshiki in particular is one that really has me stumped and I'm not sure how he'll function at all, but I imagine they'll pull some of his moves from Storm 4/Connections so I'll probably base the concept off of that.

Momoshiki Otsutsuki - Defense

Ninjutsu 1: Pheasant Hunt, this is the fire phoenix he throws at Naruto in the Chunin Exam arena, and is also one of his moves in Storm. Pretty self-explanatory.

Ninjutsu 2: Takemimusubi no Kami: Nie, this is the name Storm gives his Rinnegan palm absorption ability, at close range it would absorb chakra off your target to fill your ult gauge and restock your ninjutsu, but at long range it could be used similar to Strange Taste on Attack, except instead of filling your ult gauge, it would turn this jutsu slot into a jutsu you absorb that can be fired back within the next 10 seconds.

Sub: Time Space Hop or Swift Step

Ult: Divine Chakra Fruit Awakening, spawns in the chakra fruit of Kinshiki that changes Momoshiki's form into Fused Momoshiki, would change your jutsus to being able to spawn the colossal monsters that Momoshiki uses to fight Naruto and Sasuke, like the Earth Snakes and the Lava Golem, as well as fully healing the user and amping all of their stats. Also adds Kinshiki's red chakra weapons to your combos, replacing your default weapon's combos.

Tool: Chakra Rods, basically a non-shrunken version of Isshiki's rods, with a slightly slower travel speed but shoots several at once and has a larger stock of 3 sets to be thrown instead of 2.

Weapon: Hand to hand

As for rewards, his outfit and hair is a given, and I'd like some version of the red chakra weapons as an equippable weapon as well.

https://preview.redd.it/ycer7ywvq10d1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f7b827f16cb1542b02f8ae4a41c86e8761eea79

Karin Uzumaki - Healer

Ninjutsu 1: Heal Bite, places a healing circle at the user's feet, similar to the one on Summoning: Slug, except you can move around with this circle to tag allies to heal them, any enemies that enter this circle get a defense debuff.

Ninjutsu 2: Mind's Eye of the Kagura, similar to Byakugan, this is Karin's sensory ability that would allow you to see the locations of enemies, as well as see their ult gauge and, unlike Byakugan, would reveal what ult the enemy has by opening the screen that lets you see your allies ults, where you enemy's ults are normally hidden, they would instead be revealed. Unlike Byakugan, no Attack buff and no extended lock-on range, but your entire team would get a defense buff instead.

Sub: Emergency Exit, as of right now this sub explicitly mentions the use of scientific ninja tools as its source of passive healing, I would change this description to include medical ninjutsu or scientific ninja tools as its source of passive healing as this would be the most fitting sub for Karin.

Ult: Uzumaki Sealing Chains, these sealing chains would sprout out from the user's back and target all nearby enemies in an attempt to seal them away, notably, it would also target summons, including the ult scroll Gamabunta, and it would also end the Shukaku ult if it hits the Shukaku from the Playing Possum Jutsu ultimate.

Uzumaki Sealing Chains

Tool: Healing Seal

Weapon: Hand to hand

As for rewards, we already have her outfit and hair in the game, but I would add a Taka version of the Akatsuki cloak as a reward, as well as her adult hair and outfit.

Akatsuki Cloak (Taka Vers.)

Karin Outfit 2 and Karin Hair (Boruto Era)

Sasuke Uchiha (Hebi) - Ranged

Ninjutsu 1: Chidori Sharp Spear, this would function similarly to Hazan Strike, where you charge at your target with a Chidori, but then extend that Chidori into a Chidori Sharp Spear that impales the target, briefly paralyzing them and lowering their defense.

Ninjutsu 2: Chidori Stream, shoots Chidori out in all directions from the user, paralyzing any nearby enemies and also emptying their ninjutsu stock.

Sub: Snake Clone

Ult: Curse Mark Level 2, puts you in the same state as Sasuke's 2nd state Curse Mark, complete with the wings. Fully healing the user and amping all of their stats. The user is able to take flight by double jumping, at that point flying functions similarly to Angelic Advent, and also your heavy attack while in flight will shoot Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu instead of your standard heavy attack. A second input would use Onyx Chidori to target an enemy, similar to the second input Rasengan on Baryon Mode.

https://preview.redd.it/vp14wyt2q10d1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f06060dd9cb323aa9a5508599ba6a16d1582228f

Tool: Kunai

Weapon: Sasuke's Chidori Blade, this would function similarly to the other Kusanagi variants but with modified combos that would include replacing the standard kunai heavy attack for a Chidori Senbon heavy attack.

For rewards, we would get Sasuke's white robe Hebi outfit and hair as well as a Curse Mark Level 1 face paint that covers your neck and half of your face.

Just to clarify. Miller did NOT say he's happy to work on Thor 5. He says he's happy to work with Hemsworth.

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 13:17

I've seen a lot of "news" pieces spinning GMs words to say he's happy to do Thor 5, but that’s not exactly what he said.

Wanting to do an MCU movie is vastly different to wanting to work with an MCU actor. We do not know the context of what George means here.

Doing an MCU movie for a director might be too restrictive for Miller to do, even if he gets to use Hemsworth while doing it. One of the reasons Miller is prolific is because of the jobs he takes on allowing him that freedom. That's just not possible when you use him in a medium thats ultimately a smaller stepping stone in the grand scheme of things.

This doesn't mean that he wouldn't do it. Miller has worked in the superhero medium before, so it's not impossible that he would sign on for Thor 5. Just that he didn't explicitly say this.

Tl;Dr - temper expectations. It's one thing to get excited at the possibilities. It's another to expect it to happen, because if it doesn't, then you've already ruined your excitement for Thor 5 before it starts filming.

The One Piece anime kinda sucks

Sun, 05/12/2024 - 13:17

This is just kinda gonna be some ramblings, which I may or may not edit later, so bear with me.

The One Piece Anime (OPA) is a shitty adaptation.

First off, I do want to say I am a big fan of the One Piece Manga (OPM), although it definitely has its flaws its still a top 3 manga for me, and I have it at a high 9/10. That said, I have the OPA at a 5/10.

Now, the first problem, and one that most people have talked to death, is the pacing. OPM has 1114 chapters out, and OPA has 1104 episodes. For context, FMA has 108 chapters, and brotherhood has 64 episodes. That means it has about 1.7 chapters per episode. OPA has VERY slightly more than 1 chapter per episode. You can see the problem.

Well actually, the problem is even bigger than that. See, I personally don't mind filler. Sure, when watching weekly it sucks, but when binging one can either skip it if it sucks, or watch it if its good. And OPA does have good filler at times (although it also has some bad, which again is fine: you can just skip it). The problem is that OPA has a LOT of padding: stretching stuff out to make more content of it. This actively makes watching worse, because it often takes a lot of tension/hype away from otherwise amazing scenes. Also, you know how I mentioned you can skip the bad filler? I lied, because in OPA there are a few times where actual canon stuff is in an otherwise totally filler episode. For example, Nami explaining the Calm Belt.

The next problem is the animation. Now, I personally like stuff animated in a "classic" style, but for a vast majority of OPA the animation is just not that great. And yeah, it does get good at Wano, and Egghead looks pretty amazing, but saying that it gets good nearly 1000 episodes in does not make the first 1000 any better. This is also a bit more personal for me: I really like the art of One Piece, so seeing the animation kinda annoys me.

There are also a few issues I have the VAs, particularly Chopper's, but thats more subjective stuff.

Oh yeah. COVER STORIES. I am so fucking pissed that cover stories aren't (for the most part) in the anime. Some of them appear as flashbacks or get their own episodes, but a good amount aren't. Like, I wouldn't say the cover stories are necessary to understand the plot, but they definitely help with one of my favorite things about the OP world: how it feels like the characters are all on their own journeys through life. Also, there are some genuinely important things shown there: a good number of OPA fans probably don't know that ENEL IS ON THE FUCKING MOON or that Bon Clay is ALIVE.

This is going to sound super petty, but I really don't like the thing that appears in the middle of episodes when ad breaks happen. It just feels like they are stalling for time.

In the anime there is more fanservice. Like OPM has a good amount, but the anime takes it to another level. We did NOT need to have Bonney with fucking J cup breasts. Same with a couple other girls.

Weird censorship. Like, Zeff not eating his leg which I think actively makes both him as a character and Sanji's backstory worse. Or Whitebeard missing part of his head in the manga, which makes his final stand even cooler.

Going back to the padding, the OPA also has a habit of stretching scenes out, often to their detriment. For example, the destruction of Lulusia is much better in the manga, because its sudden. You turn a page and see an entire country get fucking nuked. In the anime there are like several minutes of giant lasers destroying it, which makes the whole thing worse imo.

Some characters appearances are different at times in the anime. For example, Rayleigh appears very early on (like chapter 10 or something) in the manga, but in the anime he looks nothing like later appearances (is the guy in the anime canonically not Rayleigh?). IIRC a similar thing happens with Marco at some point.

The OST is... fine? Like, it has some good songs, but there hasn't really been a moment where it completely hits and makes a scene much better. Like, there is no moment in OPA I can think of where the music has ascended a scene as much as say Kars theme when he becomes the ultimate being.

Also, as a result of anime original content, there are a few new plotholes that are created (Hody Jone's crew being saved by Arlong, Zoro cutting through steel in a filler arc, Bon Clay destroying the controls for the giant gates in Impel Down, probably more).

Oh yeah, cause different episodes have different directors sometimes the characters just look different. Like I feel like Yamato had a really long neck in one episode, then much larger breasts in another. This is just going off memory tho.

OPM doesn't really have super consistent power levels, but the anime makes it even worse. For example, WB does much better against Akainu, King looks way more powerful in the anime, Doffy vs Luffy final clash is much longer.

HAKI. In the manga, Haki use IS pretty inconsistent, and that is one of my problems with OPM, but again the anime makes it 100000% worse. ESP with Conquerors Haki.

Theres probably more I'm gonna think of later, but for now this is already long enough.

TLDR: OP anime sucks. Read the manga instead. Also, JJBA has some fucking BANGERS my god, I've been listening to Avalon on repeat for the entire time I wrote this.
