What this can and can’t do
It can tell you which clubs and associations serve a city and what ages they take, what a club publishes as its fee and which ones publish nothing at all, which sanctioned tournaments are coming up and whether entries have closed, and how the Canadian youth pathway actually works — house league, rep, academy, and what the jump between them costs.
It can’t tell you your own child’s schedule, team, game times or field. That data lives inside your association’s registration system and we aren’t connected to it. We would like to be — if you help run an association and that sounds useful, talk to us.
Why it refuses things
Every fee and date on this site was read off a club’s or governing body’s own page and checked. An assistant that invents a tryout date a parent drives across the city for would destroy the only thing that makes this site worth using, so this one is built not to be trusted: it can only answer from records, every answer carries citations you can click, and before an answer reaches you every dollar figure and every date in it is checked back against the records it came from. If anything in it can’t be traced, the whole answer is thrown away and you get an admission instead.
That means it will sometimes tell you it doesn’t know something you can find elsewhere. That’s the trade, and it’s the right way round.
