Hey everyone! Not the most experienced Reddit user here so my apologies if post this incorrectly.

I am currently under contract on a 1940’s home that has for the most part been untouched. I am attaching here the only floor plans we have which were done by the appraiser so they don’t have room dimensions but they do have over all dimensions. The home is a ranch with a partially finished basement.

The ultimate goal would be a primary upstairs with en-suite, and a powder room. If there was anyway to fit an office that would be amazing. I would like to keep the kitchen in the same general location for costs savings purposes.

The basement is odd because it has a massive storage area but the floor to ceiling height is only about 5.5ft tall.

Is there anything anyone would suggest layout wise? My first thought was to turn both bedrooms to a big primary including an en-suite and walk in closet, but don’t want a ton of wasted space either.

Open to any and all suggestions! I love this stuff it is so fun but I feel like I get one idea in my head and it’s hard for me to envision anything else!

I'm traveling to Europe next month, and just got back into wearing shoes following a metatarsal fracture. I did reluctantly buy some Brooks recently for ultimate comfort while I ramp back up to my normal walking ability. I plan to bring those as back-ups and for days where I know I'm gonna be walking a ton.

However, I also want options that I feel look decent on me for some days/events. I just aesthetically have a strong dislike of chunky, neon running shoes. I hate the "I'm wearing giant, fluffy triangles" silhouette that is present on shoes like HOKA, Yeezy Brooks, etc.

Does anyone have recommendations on a shoe that has the aesthetic of something more like Adidas Stan Smiths/Sambas, but is also built for comfort for long days of walking? I guess what I'm after is something that can be worn well with shorts during the day, but also with chinos when going out for dinner.

Hello!

Questions about stock card issues seem to pop up very often. I try to help answering when I see new ones but it gets tiresome to have the same conversation over and over again. r/SBCGaming has a great bot they use to reply to device recommendations and I thought it would be very handy if we could have one for stock card questions.

I don't know how to set one up, but I thought I could help by writing the post that it would reply with. Here is my suggestion for a "!sdcard":

Are you using the microSD card that came with the device? If so, it sounds like it’s having issues.

This is normal, the stock cards are very cheap and prone to failure, so the common advice is to replace them as soon as you can, before you have any saves you don’t want to lose.

A great thing about these devices is that fans create new custom firmware for them (basically an operative system) and they often can improve the user experience, features and performance.

What firmware should I use?

Here is a guide for the firmware available for the RG35XX H, with pros and cons.

How do I install new firmware?

Here’s a video that shows you the full progress to install the stock firmware. The process is similar for the other firmwares.

Do I need a computer to do this?

Yes.

Can I do this on a Mac?

Yes, but some of the steps require different software. Here is a thread that covers the main steps. Search this subreddit if it doesn't cover all of your questions.

This looks too hard. Can I buy a card that is already set up?

Possibly, but it will always be more expensive than getting a new card and setting it up, and if something breaks you won't know how to fix it.

Where can I get the games?
